Overview
• Develop media applications in ActionScript/Flex and maintain the code base with version control
• Integrate RIA front end with server-side data
• Accurately and seamlessly translate designs and requirements into user interfaces through creative collaboration
• Work with both the design and development team to create beautiful user experiences
• Focus is on software development but must be able to conduct testing activities specifically for localized versions of S/W
• Exhibit problem solving and the intellectual curiosity to find technical solutions that are effective and efficient to build, yet also the most robust
• Keeping up-to-date on the latest tools and trends

Requirements

• 4+ years experience building cross-platform Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) with Adobe Flex 3/4 and Actionscript 3
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of Flash Builder 4+, Flex, and Actionscript 2/3, including javascript, XHTML, HTML, CSS, JSON, and DOM
• Strong understanding and experience with XHTML, DHTML, CSS, xml, javascript development skills and cross browser compatibility issues.
• Expertise in OO design and development
• Localization Skills and Experience for Chinese language
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Solid experience with web services, xml processing and translation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Agile development processes and good track record of teamwork
• Experience with Adobe Air

• Localize, Customize, Integrate and support eCLAT (to begin with) and other education solutions in China
• Accurately and seamlessly translate designs and requirements into implementation through creative collaboration across various teams within Cisco and partners
• Focus is on software development & support but must be able to conduct unit level testing activities
• Exhibit problem solving and the intellectual curiosity to find technical solutions that are effective and efficient to build, yet also the most robust
