Postdoctoral Hiring
Qualifications:
Postdoctoral fellow in the US., major in Food Safety preferred, especially in food contaminant and residue analysis including pesticide and veterinary residues, minerals and metals, GMO and microbiological and mycotoxin testing.
2-3 years work experience in GLP laboratory.
Highly developed leadership skill.
Ability to drive and lead change.
Analytical, decisive, adaptable, ethical, problem solver, persuasive, commercially-sensitive.
Verbal & written communication skills- highly developed presentation skills and ability to interact effectively with senior government officials, and senior management of organizations.
Teamwork with ability to operate without close supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure group-wide food technical performance levels are maintained and improved.
Provide technical support of GLP standard accreditations to ensure the maintenance of these accreditations in the most commercially effective means.
Provide and manage technical support to GLP operations and facilitate continual improvement of the harmonized global food products procedures.
Specific Responsibilities:
Insure that all regulatory (GLP) programs are implemented, documented, and properly executed and verified for the facility.
Develop and continually improve specifications for on-site audit effectiveness and efficiency. Manage the training and coaching to ensure an on-site audit approach of GLP operations.
Manage and ensure laboratory’s operation meets the international procedures, such as, meet accreditation requirements, define the most efficient effect way to carry out activities, and so on. This includes review, approval and writing of procedures where necessary.
Define the management required for GLP bodies. Closely manage and ensure compliance of food inspection operation to GLP requirements.
Ensure technical audits are effective in identifying non-compliances to ensure ongoing accreditation and to ensure all global procedures are being adhered to.
Provide technical support for global and local new food product development.
