Product Marketing Engineer, APAC. More experienced candidate will be hired as product marketing manager.
Lead the portfolio lifecycle management of assigned product category, support the Sr. APAC Product Marketing Manager to set the product strategy of consumer products in APAC, and drive the business revenue.
Key Accountabilities:
•Act as a subject matter of expert, and serve as a key liaison person between the APAC regional sales teams and US Product management team in Santa Cruz.
•Solicit for product/features requirement and business from regional sales team, present APAC needs and biz cases to US product team including senior managers Coordinate new product trials when necessary.
•Monitor market changes, including competitors. Conduct competitive product analysis.
•Create sales tools, and assist Marcom teams to review and update the product content in marketing collaterals.
•Regularly communicate new product schedule, pricing and features with the sales team.
•Conduct product training to internal team and channel partners.
•Review monthly sales forecast and understand the forecast change, and provide input to VP APAC and global supply chain team. Make adjustment if necessary.
•Visit major markets on a quarterly basis, and present company solutions and value
Educational Requirements:
-BS in engineering, prefer those with education in a western country. 英语国家海龟。Advanced degree is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
-5+years experience in marketing or sales; ideally include 3+ years product management and/or product marketing experience. Prefer someone worked with a US/Europe ba<x>sed consumer electronics company.
-Prefer working experience in a western country, such as US, Canada, Western Europe, and Australia/New Zealand.
-Fluent English and Mandarin.
-Presentable with good communications in both writing and public speaking. Excellent listener, collaborator and influencer.
-Proficient in business software, especially Excel and Power Point
-Strong attention to detail, highly organized and deadline driven.
-Self-starter. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Location: Must be able to relocate to Suzhou industrial park (80KM away from Shanghai)
