Responsibilities:
• Design plastic and sheet metal parts for Audio & Video products.
• Technical support for Production.
• Component sourcing and Evaluation.
• Coordinate activities between Factories and customers on product development.
• Work with Electrical team on product design.
• Work closely with design firm(s) on new Industrial design concepts and methods of implementation that will lead to cost effective, reliable and aesthetically pleasing products.
• Work independently with Minimal supervision
Qualifications:
• Minimum B.S in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Telecom product or consumer electronics design (e.g. router/phones)
• Minimum 2 years experience in Product support.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Mechanical CAD Software (preferably Pro-Engineer).
• Experience in Tooling Design an advantage.
• Hands-On knowledge of Mechanical design (injection molded parts, sheet metal, elastomeric, and packaging) an advantage.
• Proficiency in English.
