Worldwide Market Intelligence Team
We are a skilled and international team serving high-profile Lenovo stakeholders on issues including corporate strategy, business units, market inquiries and market analytics including business development within new and emerging technologies.
Members of our team come from diverse backgrounds: IBM, supplier organizations, management consultancies, operations at Lenovo. Other were direct hired from universities. We work on quarterly projects centred around quarterly reporting of earnings, market performance and share. Our the information we mange and analyze come from supplier research companies (e.g. IDC, Garnter) mixed with internal sources. Our mission is to provide all parts of the organization with up-to-date, accurate, and relevant information and intelligence.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a senior analyst, you will have the opportunity and be expected to:
• Manage and complete assigned projects, working closely together with other Lenovo teams (e.g. sales & marketing, product, R&D, operations, service)
• Maintain good working relations with research supply companies to provide guidance on reporting and rationalize irregularities.
• Liaise between external and internal parties on regional guidance and forecast data that affect our business
• Maintain and learn critical knowledge about our business to become an authority for stakeholders in the company looking for insights and intelligence as it relates to their business
• Design and prepare presentations to communicate MI strategy to both internal and external audience
• Establish and maintain strategy-related tools, information and processes
Education & Qualifications Requirements
The ideal profile we seek to recruit for Lenovo Corporate Strategy is as follows:
• A minimum of five years full-time professional experience post-university
• Exceptional business analysis and quantitative skills. based on prior professional experience, the candidate should have developed sound business/commercial judgment and critical thinking
• Strong analytical framework to process complicated issues and solve problems
• Bias for action, drive for results while demonstrating positive attitude and enthusiasm
• Dedicated team leader able to manage, coach and develop a small team
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, with capacity to interact with all levels in the organization (including regular exposure to executive management)
• Proficient in spoken and written English, overseas experience preferred
• Fluent in spoken Putonghua and written Chinese
