Responsibilities:

 Manage overall news processing and editorial operations in mainly in China as well as and Taiwan
 Responsible for monitoring production output quality, process performance and customer service compliance
 Streamline, reform and improve workflow & processes to achieve higher productivity and cost efficiencies
 Strengthen and expand editorial and data processing operations to produce a new series of high quality information products and services in Hong Kong and China
 Handle department budget and department HR initiatives
 Enhance and tighten quality control system to monitor output quality, process performance and customer service compliance
 Responsible for building and managing a network of outsourcing partners in various cities all over China
 Report directly to the COO of the company

Requirements:

 Degree holder with solid experience in people management & process improvement
 Knowledge of computer science or computer engineering background will be an advantage
 Minimum 5 years of solid management experience of which 3 has intensive China exposure
 Past experience in information or creative industries, such as news or animation production, database compilation, research or editorial, is preferred
 First class leadership, organizational, analytical and communication skills, good command of Mandarin and English. Cantonese proficiency a major plus.
 based in China (Nanjing or Shenzhen) with frequent travel requirements
 Must be a fast learner as well as a winning can-do attitude to learn.
 Ability to work in a hands-on environment and lead by example.
 Energetic and passionate about making a difference and can work independently as well as a team player.
 A result oriented rainmaker with the excellent problem solving skills with client oriented mindset.
