Job Title: Commercial Manager, MV Business, AP

Business Group and Unit: Medium Voltage, Power Control Business

Work Location: China / Singapore

Reports to (Direct/Indirect): Regional Business Manager, Power Control, Asia Pacific

Supervises (Direct/Indirect): TBC



Job Purpose

Provide day to day direction and leadership in all aspects of MV marketing commercial and technical support to achieve continued growth, profitability and strategic objectives for Medium Voltage Products within the Asia Pacific Region.



Key Responsibilities

DO

1. Responsible for providing leadership through managing and supporting the day-to-day commercial and technical presales activities of MV products for assigned group

2. Create a positive environment of close cooperation and teaming between the various departments and SBUs and International locations.

3. Continue to Enhance field coverage as well focus on ease of doing business and non-project quotation support. Coordinate with Projects group support as required.

4. Maintain Global database accuracy, produce on a weekly basis, a rolling forecast, by major product lines.

5. Communicate competitive activities, and provide input to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

6. Coordinate with Manager and Business units, pricing negotiation strategy tactics, selection of target accounts, target markets, and associated channels to market.

7. Ensure optimal performance for the sale of Medium Voltage products.

8. Generate and coordinate the dissemination of information, strategies and specifications to ensure the effective development of marketing programs, product launches.

9. Responsible for directing activities for the assigned group.

10. Provide an ongoing program for the professional development and self-improvement of the assigned team personnel.

11. Coordinate with internal and external parties.

12. Responsible for coordinating and establishing Quota numbers and monthly statistics and reports as required.

13. Involved in building relationships with 3rd party suppliers with the goal, to increase product sales.

14. Other duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Engineering Degree.

2. Minimum 10 years of sales, marketing experience is highly desirable. Must have demonstrated strong commercial and technical judgment, proven leadership skills in a dynamic and multi- tasking environment with heavy emphasis on building working relationships.
