Job Description：We're currently looking to hire a System Manager, Data Center Operations & Support. You will be responsible for leading Nokia actions in a set of data centers and will act as the primary Nokia contact for data centers in your region.
You will cooperate with Internet services teams and manage the generic Nokia web-hosting services for the benefit of Nokia Internet services that are hosted on-site. You will be leading a team of specialists in order to make sure a selected Internet data center serves the need according to business expectations and SLAs.
As part of your day-to-day activities, you will ensure global competitiveness, customer (direct and indirect) attractiveness, and innovativeness of the Internet data centers in your region.
Some of the sites are operated by 3 rd parties, so supplier management is a major part of your work.
Internal Qualifications：An expert in web hosting, you are a fully competent professional with a broad perspective. You have 10 years of applicable experience combined with a relevant academic background.
Strong knowledge of protocols, architectures, standards, and evolving trends including Edge Caching, etc., and fast, scalable and reliable delivery of content to multiple devices (PC, Handheld). Candidates must be true self-starters with good organizational and analytical skills and with references that attest to excelling in a team-oriented environment. Leadership and/or mentoring skills are a plus.
• Proven ability to provide strategic technical direction by defining new features, products and technologies.
• Experience working with third parties to determine how to integrate technologies.
• Proficient in collecting internal and external customer concerns and update documents or comments accordingly.
• Proven experience in hosting and managing large and scalable services
• Proven experience in developing and operating application environments
• Proven experience in building, managing and leading the IT operation team
• Wide experience on IT infrastructure
• Strong team player
• Project and Partner Management
• Capability to work in multitasking situation under pressure
• Problem solving skill
• Proven experience in service lifecycle management (e.g., ITIL)
• Experience on service monitoring and related tools
• Attention for details
• Efficiency and quality Fluent English and Chinese communication skill is a must-have competency
