Duties and Responsibilities
1 Be primarily responsible for overseeing the TBWAWorldwide IT Asia/Pacific infrsturcture environment:
2 Remotely manage, monitor, and maintain the network, ESX servers, SAN storage, NAS storage, backups
3 Setup and all of the ongoing management on the WWIT systems, services and applications in Asia/Pacific
4 Setup a monitoring environment that allows monitoring from Dalian, Hong Kong, and London
5 Manage and maintain the consolidated finance system in Hong Kong
6 Windows and SQL management
7 Take responsibility for implementing It Governance/Sarbanes Oxley related responsibilities (eg change and patch management)
8 Take on responsibility for managing Directory Synchronisation
9 Management of the regional MPLS and VPN connections
10 Second line/technical guidance for the agencies.
Managing Windows and Linux based systems hosted on a VMWare platform
Managing network configurations (both LAN and WAN) to ensure solid connectivity and that systems are always available
Installing, managing, and maintaining web-based applications
Helping to oversee security and the use of best IT practices
Skills and Attributes required:
1 MCSE Certification with a focus on Microsoft SQL.
2 Strong experience in building/configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and managing Windows Server 2003 & 2008 and Active Directory.
3 Strong experience designing, monitoring, troubleshooting, managing and optimizing SQL-based databases (Microsoft SQL 2005, 2008, and MySQL).
4 Experience in building/configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and managing Linux/LAMP servers (Red Hat/CentOS). Ability to deploy and configure web-based applications.
5 Experience in configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and managing LAN and WAN networks, including switches, Cisco firewalls, VPN and MPLS environments.
6 Familiarity with LDAP directories beyond Active Directory.
7 Self starter, able to work alone
8 Team player, willing to work with a global team.
9 Adapts well to new technologies with a willingness to learn
10 Excellent quality English, written and oral.
