Symbian OS Consultant
Location: Beijing

Responsibilities:
Technology Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering technology innovation and providing the backbone of our systems integration business.
Network & Communications professionals develop and deliver solutions that involve the design, implementation, operations and management of data and voice network infrastructure -- for enterprises or service providers -- upon which business applications can be built.
The SW OS Consultant role is responsible for managing all SW components going to the TD-SCDMA product, including the modem SW, adaptation SW, Symbian OS, S60 MW & Applications, Product Specific SW features, Operator specific features, 3rd party features & Nokia Services and Solutions. He/she needs to make sure that all product key milestones (CS0, CS1, PD0, PD1, PD2, PD3, & PD4) happen on time and with agreed quality.
General Requirements:
· Programming Language: Strong C++ development skills
· Operating System: Symbian
· Software Development: Strong in ob<x>ject Oriented Programming & OO Design, experience with Agile & Waterfall model of development, experience in memory and performance optimization,
· Should have worked on S60 phone platform, well versed with Symbian SDKs
· Domain: Experience in developing mobile phone applications and/or middleware – exposure to multimedia, network using IP, HTTP, Messaging, etc, native applications, telephony, ba<x>se. Software development experience on Android platform would be a strong advantage.
· Good understanding of ARM processor and programming, Symbian EKA2 operating system (Threads and processes, kernel and user services, synchronization methods, boot loader, platform security)
· Good to have: Experience with Linux, Windows Mobile, Brew, Java ME or other proprietary mobile environments would be advantageous.
Specific Requirements:
· Symbian product Whole Life Cycle development experience is necessary
· Leading team or project experience is necessary
· Senior project management skills (esp. Planning, Decision Making, Networking)
· Clear & fluent English, Senior reporting skills
· Directive, Strong execution
· Understand S60 SW assets (esp. Modem, Telephony) preferred
· Wide network in S60 global teams (Chipset, SSS, Symba, AMPI etc.)
