JOB TITLE: Process Improvement Manager
SUMMARY
This position plays a strategically important role in the development and application of best practice to drive continuous improvement and reengineering in the area of process, policy, product and organization change that meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Customer Centricity
• Create a customer centric culture in which continuous improvements opportunities are promoted, recognised and adapted within the organization
• Develop a reputation for driving customer service and delivery excellence
• Act as agent of change within Ops Operations environment
Continuous Improvement
• Partner with key stakeholders in the OPs BU and assume ownership for the identification, analysis, solution design and implementation of key product, process, and policy improvements
• Preparation of business cases for system enhancements to support the prioritization of product, process, policy improvements in line with the End to End Customer Experience Roadmap
• Develop business case and processes to improve customer experience and productivity and champion them into tangible products, policies and processes by collaborating with partners in the business units, product, risk, operations and technology teams.
• Evaluate, Measure and track the effectiveness of improvements
Process Improvement
• Work together with operational functions and process owners to develop capabilities and competencies in process improvement
• Partner with the Process team to ensure the definition, documentation, measurement, maintenance and ownership of key business processes are clearly defined across the various segmented teams.
• Solicit, prioritize and recommend new organizational projects that align with Global Ops strategy and business objectives.
Oversee the delivery of re-engineering activates within the business
• In conjunction with the PMO and Process team develop and lead the deployment of best practise process improvement methodologies across the entire organisation
Project Management
• Define, establish & communicate a detailed project plan together with agreed timelines, identifying critical milestones, interdependencies & risks.
• Lead cross-BU, cross-functional project teams, obtaining resources as needed to deliver the project’s goals.
• Update senior management/ stakeholders on progress against plan on a regular basis & escalate issues as required.
• Proactively work to resolve potential conflicts, issues and risks associated with the project
• Monitor & follow up post project deliver to ensure all outstanding issues are resolved
• In conjunction with the PMO develop and lead the deployment of best practise project and programme management methodologies across the entire organisation
Change Management
• Understand and effectively leverage best practice change management methods, tools and approaches to create an effective change plan to manage key change risks associated with deploying projects and deriving a return on investment
• Proactively identify and manage specific issues and risks and work with all stakeholders, including HR, PMO and BUs, for proper action and intervention.
• Plan and conduct readiness workshop, readiness assessment and tollgate review.
• Advise and work with program leaders and champions (senior & executive management) to define and create success and adoption measures – metrics that are realistic, achievable and implementable.
REQUIREMENTS
A) Education
• Minimum of BA/BS degree, Post Grad or Masters preferred
• Formal Project Management Qualification (PMI/PRINCE)
• Process improvement Qualification (Six Sigma)
• Good command of English in both writing and speaking
• 2nd language a plus
B) Experience
• Minimum of 10 years Process Improvement/ Project Management operations experience within a multinational, fast moving operations, service centre or shared services environment
• Proven ability of driving change and leading transformation projects within a dynamic organisation
• Proven business analytical skill and record of delivering superior results
• Very strong communication skills: team building, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, negotiation & decision making
• Ability to lead, manage & motivate team efforts
• Customer centric
• Technology savvy
