Job Location: Wuxi
This company is one of the leading mechanical components producers in China.
Job Responsibilities:
lead planning function of this company – Industrial plant for company’s products and ensures all -Planning systems meet Group standards
key contact in the plant for company’s products: MPS, purchasing plan, sub-contracting plan, in-house manufacturing plan; Sales & Operating Planning; product delivery
leader for implementation, operation and Continuous Improvement of ERP system (SAP) for Supply Chain related modules
ensure the plant achieves its business goals by generating and maintaining Production Plan, Master Production Plan, Purchasing Plan, Sub-contracting Plan and plant Manufacturing Plan
create and maintain “planning policy” for MPS and “inventory logic” to maintain inventory of “right size”
maintain proper application of ERP system (SAP System) in the plant, especially in planning (MRP II), material traceability and integration with other systems
integrate with Global Group – Global Order Fulfillment in implementing and maintaining its Sales and Operating Planning process
work with China Logistic Center (CLC) to ensure “On Time Delivery as Promised”, including setting up and maintaining Order Management system with CLC and China Order Fulfillment team
develop a strong Planning team with focus on change management and associates’ development
main KPI’s are OTD as Promised, Inventory (Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods), physical inventory accuracy
Key Requirements:
bachelor’s degree or above major in Engineering / Business preferred
more than five years’ working experience as a Planning Manager or Material Manager in a mass production company
understand basics of supply chain management
must be good in Microsoft Excel application
experience in using SAP (preferred) or other ERP systems
excellent communication and presentation skills
strong cross-functional management skills
excellent English speaking and writing skills
