Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Investor Relations will work closely with the company’s outside investor relations agency to plan and execute the investor relations function, drive the company's overall IR strategy, messaging, and develop and execute the tactical components of the investor relations program to ensure achievement of all investor relations goals. The Director will maintain ongoing interaction with the various business units and functional areas to ensure that all investor relations actions accurately reflect the company’s most current operational plans and financial results.
The Director will establish the company’s strategic positioning statements and investment thesis that will flow through all communications (to investors, customers and employees); communicate with all concerned constituencies, including individual shareholders, institutional shareholders, investment bankers, buy/sell side analysts, financial media, and employees; create and disseminate relevant collateral, including annual reports, releases and filings; and serve as a key participant in investor conferences, road shows, media tours, and one-on-ones working in partnership with the CEO and CFO, among others. Additionally, the Director will to play an active role in public relations, marketing, corporate governance and other related activities.
JOB SCOPE:
Key role in communicating the financial performance and strategy of ××Company, Inc. to ensure the investment community understands and fairly values the company. This position is primarily responsible for the development of investor relations' strategies, policies, programs and projects.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Develop an annual investor relations plan (including investor outreach and internal communication) with quantifiable objectives.
•Maintain a keen understanding of ××Company’s business and strategy, economic models, financial results, industry trends, and operational developments.
•Manage the production of all financial presentations to be used by the senior corporate officers for institutional investors. This includes the development of annual reports, financial news and earnings releases, investor relations website content, and other IR communications.
•Manage and maintain the company's Investor Relations website, including determination of appropriate design and content, posting new corporate financial data as well as ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all data on the site.
•Work closely with Financial Reporting, Accounting and other departments to gather information (and fact-check) for presentations, press releases, annual reports, and other external disclosures to the financial community.
•Serve as primary interface with the investment community; manage relationships and day-to-day communications with research analysts and investors.
•Develops and maintains effective relationships with senior management team, and the investment community. Educate and build relationships with key analysts who cover ××Company and identify opportunities for proactive investor relations' activities and involvement in industry events.
•Produce regular reports for the CFO and other senior executives on investor / competitor issues and coordinate analyst monitoring and analyst report distribution. Keep executive management abreast of Wall Street expectations, investor questions, industry conferences, competitor developments, and trading activity.
Requirements:
•BS/BA Business, Accounting, or Finance
•Minimum 8 years experience working in the investor relations / capital markets; and/or cross functional business capacity
•Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interview management and translate key themes into effective scripts, presentations, etc.
•Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization
•Must have ability to multi-task and show strong attention to detail
•Bilingual skills a big plus (Mandarin and English)
•Excellent word, excel, PowerPoint skills
•Excellent financial and accounting skill
•Organizational skills key
•Unquestionable integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards
•Willing to travel as needed in Asia and the United States
