•The candidate will be responsible for ××Company’s worldwide revenue recognition practice for China operations. This also includes responsibility for commissions and billing.
•Supervise a team of revenue recognition analysts.
•Review contracts to understand deliverables and revenue recognition implications; communicate such implications to sales force.
•Work with Sales and Sales Ops on contract issues to ensure proper revenue recognition; provide suggestions and assistance for contract negotiations.
•Communicate/educate sales force on basic revenue accounting principles.
•Develop analysis to analyze VSOE and revenue carve outs on multiple element arrangements.
•Assist with management of quarter-end revenue audit efforts.
•Manage SOX 404 on Quote-to-Collect efforts.
•Develop processes, procedures and be pro-active from systems perspective.
Requirements:
•7+ years experience in accounting & finance; 3+ years in revenue and related areas.
•US CPA/MBA - Big 4 experience highly desired.
•Solid knowledge in software revenue recognition under US GAAP.
•Strong leader with good communication and writing skills.
