Right now we’re in the process of searching a Financial Controller for a global Top 3 Manufacturer in Barcode Printer product. This company provides the broadest range of innovative technology solutions to identify, track, and manage the deployment of critical assets for improved business efficiency. Its core technologies include reliable on-demand printer and state-of-the-art software and hardware solutions. It is publicly traded on NASDAQ Stock Market in 1991. They are now have 2 offices(Shanghai & Guangzhou) and 2 R&D Center(Guangzhou & Shenzhen) in China with more than one hundred employees. Shanghai is their Headquarters. Their current sales volume is about USD 45 million for last year with more than 30% business growth every year. Now they are playing as the top role in China Market. Their Finance Department now is locate in Shanghai with 5 staffs, finance manager and 4 accounts to operate the daily financial work.
I'm not sure of your current situation or career focus, but I'd like to see if this position might be worth pursuing for you. Briefly, the key responsibilities and requirements of this position are as follows.
Position Sought: Greater China Financial Controller (Mainland China & HK)
Location: Shanghai
Reporting Line: AP Finance Director (Locate in Singapore)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop the financial accounting & reporting processes maintaining the accuracy and integrity of information.
Manage the Financial Accounting and Balance Sheet account review of the monthly financial close process ensuring timely and accurate reporting to Corporate.
Establish an effective financial planning and budget function to support the Greater China business strategy. Provide value added financial analysis and identify opportunities for cost control
Develop a pro-active approach to the identification and facilitation of business and control improvement opportunities,
Initiate and formulating the important policies and procedures in key business cycles or activities and safeguard company assets and resources and maintain compliance with corporate ethics and policies.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and governmental authorities to ensure that statutory requirements on tax annual filing, business license renewal are complied
Motivate and supervise the finance team by providing leadership and clear goals s, analysis the workload and initiate the change process improvement
Verify the payroll to make sure timely proceeding payroll and the related pension is in line with the effective regulations.
Processes commission and rebates, resolves and follow up on any open queries
Provide support for intercompany matters and other related issues.
Participate in ad hoc project and company initiatives in support of business operations and group's strategy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Top Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of working experience, with 5 years of relevant management experience
Strong people management skills
Familiarity with a sales driven environment
Special Requirements:
CICPA(must)/ACCA(Plus)
Commercial sense, internal control experience and some legal background
Hyperion and Oracle experience preferred

Global leader in RFID,RTLS solution market (World Top 3 & China Top 1)
