Amphenol Corp. is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our growing team in China.

Overall Scope of Position:
Responsible for site management and organizational leadership of global electronic manufacturing company located in Northwest China. Direct responsibility for all staff as well as an operating budget of $USD 20 million with full P&L responsibility. Create, market, and execute a clear and strategic vision to increase profitability throughout organization. This requires the development of a positive work environment and organizational culture which allows all employees to contribute at a high level toward customer satisfaction while focusing on flexibility, speed and continuous improvement.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop multiple year strategic plans, annual operating plans and corporate budgets covering all aspects of both P&L and balance sheet management.
• Establish current and long term goals, plan ob<x>jectives and policies with senior management; position company for long term growth.
• Provide leadership and direction to execute major initiatives, standards, and procedures which are consistent with established policies and goals.
• Motivate management team to work cross functionally to ensure managers meet annual targets, implement financial controls and expand overall global initiatives.
• Provide guidance and direction to staff while overseeing aspects of production, sales, operations, and maintaining a customer focus.
• Demonstrate effectiveness in developing new business.
• Continually review budgets and market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, etc.
• Interface closely with plant teams to ensure customer requirements and production goals are achieved and exceeded.
• Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain and Quality to provide and manage resources for new product development, ensuring delivery of world class products to key OEM customers.
• Maintenance of metrics to measure line efficiencies production outputs and labor efficiencies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred, plus 10 + years work experience in an industry related, fast paced and highly competitive global manufacturing environment in a cross functional senior level manager capacity. Minimum of 8 years of managerial/supervisory experience. Operational management/ multifunctional experience plus experience with connectors or the telecommunications/related industry preferred. Strong leadership skills required. Ability to work under pressure to achieve consistently high results through individual and team efforts. Working knowledge of project management and cost benefit analysis. Ability to analyze and interpret technical and financial reports. Extensive hands on experience in the areas of new business development, sales and management of sales. Highly focused and results-oriented; able to identify goals and priorities and resolve issues during initial stages. Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span. Must be a strong decision-maker who can motivate others. Experience interviewing, hiring, managing complex teams from sales, engineering, finance and operational backgrounds, facilitating performance reviews and terminations.
