Company background: A famous global chemical company in Shanghai.
Salary Package: RMB 400-600K, but it could be negotiable.
Job Responsibilities
• Consult and ensure the implementation of long term technical and product/system vision
• Perform high level technical project design with Partner and Architecture Specialist/Lead Architecture Specialist
• Accountable for ensuring that technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Company I/T architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term cost of ownership
• Act as liaison with the functional Expertise Centers to assist in shaping new opportunities
• Under the direction of global Enterprise Technical Architects, work on projects to evaluate and introduce new technologies to the company architecture
• Lead the execution of Emerging Technology projects
• Oversee the creation of development standards and usage guidelines for new or updated technologies
• Lead planning and implementation of technology lifecycle management projects for technologies in their area of responsibility.
• Mentor and coach Architecture Specialists and other junior team members
• Act as Product owner and architecture SME for products within their area of responsibility
• Provide technical leadership while accounting for lifecycle management.
• Provide consulting expertise to non-project efforts (as agreed to or authorized by Program Office)
Leverage information / learning's across Architecture Specialists and other LAS's
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
• 10-15 years of working experience in IT industry and related fields, high expertise on the following:
• Microsoft platform development technologies – Expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio, C and Visual Basic languages, Working knowledge of WinCompanys operating systems and related components
• Development experience on mobile device platforms (iPhone, Blackberry, Android). Java and C development languages.
• SAP platform development technologies – Expertise in Java and ABAP programming languages and tools. Working knowledge of NetWeaver platform technologies. Exposure to Pi-XI, Solution Manager, SAP Change Report Management (CHARM).
• Experience with current development methodologies (RAD, Sprint/Scrum) and techniques (object Oriented, Service Oriented Architecture).
• Strong leadership and initiative.
• Ability to lead people and teams.
• Ability to identify issues and effectively drive resolution of issues across the organizations and global teams.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and develop their abilities
• Ability to communicate technical subjects in a manner understandable to a non-technical audience effectively in both written and verbal forms.
• Very good English communication skills – oral and written. Ability to work cross-cultures and collaborate with global teams for delivery.
