German company which manufactures automotive and industrial time chain applications.
Salary:

Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ General accounting including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank re conciliations, incl. travel.
+ Purchase accounting and invoicing with Golden Tax to customers.
+ Maintain purchase and sales ledger, asset register.
+ Bank reconciliation.
+ Prepare monthly tax and VAT computations.
+ Prepare, compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts within deadlines given.
+ Prepare and ensure timely, accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
+ Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
+ Prepare cash forecasts.
+ Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
+ Maintenance of accounting control procedures.
+ Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process according to group deadlines.
Requirements:
+ University Degree with an accounting specialization or equivalent.
+ Good knowledge of Chinese accounting practices and principles.
+ Knowledge of economic principles
+ Basic knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
+ A minimum of 3 years experience in (purchase) accounting, financial reporting, financial data analysis, taxation.
+ Knowledge and experience of Microsoft computer applications.
+ Proficiency in relevant accounting software, SAP knowledge is a plus.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Planning and organizing.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Information and task monitoring.
+ Problem analysis.
+ Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin.
+ Fluency in English (spoken and written).
+ Stress tolerance.
+ Team worker.
+ Willing to live and work in Shanghai.
+ In good health.
+ Older than 28 years.
