A US manufacturing company with USD 37+ billion revenue, 9000+ employees in China, is looking for a Senior account manager for one of the business unit to be based in Shanghai.
Job Title: Asia Pacific Sr. Account Manager, Specialty Products, Specialty Materials
Location: Shanghai
Main Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for revenue and contribution growth within Asia Pacific
Target and close key opportunities for armor and industrial fiber offerings, driving overall sales performance
Work closely with commercial colleagues throughout Asia to broaden and deepen sales coverage
Implement business strategies in China and other Asian nations, in coordination with global product line strategies
Work closely with Regional and Global Business Managers and Global Sales Manager to provide input to overall strategy development
Develop clear understanding of country and application-specific industry environments, including value chains, business drivers and competitive environment to help create plans for creating value
Responsible for timely identification and communication of market trends, technical developments, competitive activities and business opportunities that will impact the business
Interface regularly with key customers and partners to establish high level business relationships
Qualifications
Attributes / Skills Required:
Foreign passport holder is required
Strong business acumen, bias for action and results-oriented
Strong technical capabilities and experience
Comfortable with 40+% travel
Ability to work well across cultures
Experience in a global organization, developing partnerships with peers in other regions
Ability to move between tactical and strategic approaches depending on the situation
Between 28-35 years of age
