The client is looking for senior IT professional to cover retail and wealth management business. The responsibilities include defining IT strategic vision in the close collaboration with firm senior management in wealth management and global retail business, developing a broad portfolio of retail applications with a strong perspective of Straight Through Process (STP) and coverage of multiple assets, and establishing a strong business oriented IT culture. We are looking for candidates with direct experience with top overseas or domestic brokerage firms, and have broad and in-depth business knowledge front-to-back and working experiences in retail processes, financial products, and client relationship management. The ideal candidates are those who are currently working for brokerage firms such as Fidelity etc or domestic financial software providers in the overall architecture role or with responsibility for a key part of retail systems.
Responsibility
The technical skills required in these positions span data, application, and infrastructure technologies. The candidates should have the following direct experience and skills
• Overall retail IT architecture and design of a low-latency, high available distributed systems supporting thousands of concurrent users located across mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas
• Front end Web retail GUI design and development
• Key infrastructure of data warehouse, middle-ware messaging, and identity/security
• Common architecture of content delivery through different channels such as Internet, Intranet, and wireless via different approaches.
• Software development standards covering analysis, design, development, testing, and product support.
Requirement
• The ideal candidates should have direct work experience in retail and wealth management IT, and who could “hit the ground” from day one. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently working on leading retail system with top brokerage firms.
• Candidates need to specify the exact area in retail IT system that he could contribute
• Master degree or above in computer science, engineering or related fields are required.
• Good communication and presentation skills in both technical and business capacity.
● Candidates must have strong knowledge and belief in Agile software development process.
• Retail client management, e.g. marketing/sales, profile, proposal, relationship management
• Branch Management, e.g. Financial Advisor workstation
• Operations, e.g. trade execution/settlement, statement, accounts, custodian, credit/margin, research, foreign banking
• Proficient in English
