Purpose
Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for all marketing activities in certain countries in Asia. based on market development, cultural activity and regional conditions you will develop content driven marketing strategies to improve customer-acquisition and -retention. Working alongside other Country Managers, our Marketing, Media, Content divisions and delivery partners, you will take care of the daily mobile activity and also put forward new ideas to expand the offering. You will submit weekly reports.
Key Responsibilities
Media
• New deals: identifying new opportunities and new publishers which will add volume
• Spend/invoices: be on top of spending and CPAs per publisher, forwarding invoices and I/Os to Commercial Director.
• Update campaigns banners and keywords to optimise banner performance (i.e. Click Through Rate (CTR) to drive acquisition.
Content
• Getting new local content, relevant to driving subscribers acquisition.
• Staying in touch with local content: updating the cultural calendar
• Updating WapSite according to cultural calendar and benchmarking
Benchmarking
• Market analysis: checking competitors’ activities and offers.
• Testing services: identifying and resolving sign-up or content download issues.
Service Operations
• Billing strategy optimization: checking billing rate and working with billing team to improve them (e.g. retry policies)
• Stats: analyzing activities on WAP and optimising conversion (Click To Subscribe) sale. Analyzing activities on WEB and optimising serial flow for acquisition.
• Searches: checking trends on searches made by customer on our WAP portal to drive content pipeline
• Bugs/Issues: communicating them to tech, agreeing on a deadline and follow-up to make sure they are fixed.
• New products: give new ideas to Project Director and help integrate new developments.
Legal/ Aggregators
• Customer complaints: work with the Customer Service Manager to ensure Customer Agents fully understand our service.
• New regulations: be sure we are compliant and establish regular meetings with Aggregator to ensure we remain compliant.
• Dealing direct with operators: working on relationship with operators to ensure they understand our service and company
Key Skills
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to analyze trends and data to optimise service revenue
Experience and qualifications
• Experience in working in either the mobile or media sectors
• Very good analytical skills
