Job description
Job Responsibilities:
The primary role of the role is to proactively assist the industry leader to develop major sales and marketing plans and realize those plans.
- Defining and leading Chinese market strategies for IBM products to support aggressive growth target
- Providing leadership to the service lines engaged in business development activities in China
Detail as:
- Establish go to market strategy for China market. Responsible for mutually agreed sales targets and develop new sales opportunities…..will initiate direct solicitation with companies, source, negotiate and close deals.
- Work with leadership team to identify, analyze, prioritize and target customers, prospects and industries. Articulate market trends/opportunities, optimize market coverage and sales deployment trategies…manage deal win/loss conversion analysis to provide insight into business processes and market trends/preferences.
- Present GBS capabilities and values to prospects and customers, prepare solution including cost and benefit analysis.
- Manage/work through large cross-functional teams and drive frequent effective communication. Present
recommendations in a focused and concise manner.
- Drive strategic planning and business development for GBS business. Working with the service line header to define and lead market entry strategy for GBS offerings.
- Assist with the development of long and short team goals, business plans and progress based on customer values and needs.
Job Requirements:-
Experienced, mature and solid professional with 5 years experience in Business Development in a services sales/solution sales environment in China.
- Prefer candidate with strong commercial skill.
- The success candidate should have a proven record of management experience in a matrixes international business organization in China.
- Strategic thinking ability, the successful must have experience in formulating and implementing business
strategy in China market. He/she should have a strong execution orientation and be able to lead as a ‘hands-on' manager.
- Knowledge of China, the person must be equipped with strong understanding of China market. The success candidate must be adaptable - someone who is comfortable managing ambiguity in a fast changing market environment. Ideally, the candidate should have a successful track record of selling service in China insurance industry in a complex business environment.
- Strong, clear, effective written and oral communication and negotiation skills in both English and Chinese. Ability to interact at all levels in the organization including senior leaders
• Strong influencing and relationship building skills, ability to get work done by cross functional teams and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 8years experience in Business Development in a services sales/solution sales environment in China.
At least 8 years experience in Have a proven record of management experience in a matrixes international business organization in China.
At least 8 years experience in Formulating and implementing business strategy in China market. He/she should have a strong execution orientation and be able to lead as a ‘hands-on´ manager
