This role will assist Product Management team in developing product and go to market strategies to increase market share in emerging markets by analyzing the competitive landscape, customer segments (trends and opportunities) and channels.

Job Functions:

Market research both primary and secondary to gauge the competitive
environment, trends as well as customer segments, trends, and
opportunities in the target market

Perform Financial analysis projects potentially including market opportunity sizing,
and business case development

Requirements:
1. Experience in Enterprise or Consumer software marketing/sales in China and/or Russia
2. Knowledgeable in the software distribution channels, and telecommunication OEM markets
3. Willing to spent part of the internship conducting primary research in the home country (China/Russia)
4. Second language skill - Chinese
5. A strong aptitude for business strategy
6. Experience in the security software industry preferred
This person will need to:
* Understand the China market well
* Understand what products the Chinese want - How can we expand our China market share
* Need not be a security expert but have good business skills - be business and IT savvy
How?
* Market research
* Visit and talk to customers
* Creating and conducting surveys
* Running focus groups
Profile of the candidate:
* MBA grads from UK, US and Australia returning to Beijing?
* Engineering or IT knowledge
* Need to be able to use their research and convince the Product team on the US what steps to take.
* Have excellent communication skills (Chinese and English)
