8 to 12 years minimum, with broad experience in high availability, high reliability Power Systems Engineering or Power Supply Engineering.
Understanding of the various power systems topologies and design solutions common to the technology, and a proven ability to apply them correctly during a development cycle.
Requires a strong understanding and familiarity of computer system hardware and architecture as it pertains to PPC design.
Firm working knowledge in areas such as power design, thermal design, mechanical design, and component characteristics, as they relate to PPC design.
Must have a good understanding of the Contract Manufacturing (CM) and OEM/JDM industry as a whole, in order to make accurate and optimum make-vs.-buy decisions in commoditized product areas.
