Primary responsibilities
• You will work closely with members of the APAC Cloakware Sales team to develop sales opportunities with prospective customers. This includes determining their technical requirements and to discuss and develop complex technical solutions.
• Create and develop high level designs using a combination of Cloakware products and services while leveraging the security features of the customers chosen operating system and hardware.
• Prepare and deliver detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospect customers and partners for various market segments.
• Respond on time and accurately to customer questions, RFIs and RFPs and develop sound relationships with key technical players in the account.
• Take ownership and act as the interface between customer and Irdeto Cloakware functional departments to resolve complex technical sales issues.
• From time to time perform professional services to customers such as product training, detailed security design and the integration of Cloakware's development tools
• Work according to Irdeto quality processes and guidelines as applicable.
Interfaces and Authority
• Interfaces with the Irdeto group APAC Sales team, Irdeto Sales and Sales Operations Management, and the Marketing and Business Development Directors.
• In this role you will work closely with the Cloakware Solutions Engineering team, Product Management, CTO and with counterparts in the global Cloakware Sales Operations team.
Required Experience
Knowledge & Skill requirements
• University degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering coupled with practical experience.
• Maturity and experience dictating at least 8 years in the workforce.
• A minimum of 5 years programming experience with recent C development experience (C++, assembly and shell scripting are an asset).
• Recent experience in one or more of the following development environments:
- UNIX or Windows hosted development for a RTOS or Embedded OS (eg. VxWorks, Nucleus, WinCE etc)
- Embedded Linux (on MIPS, ARM or PPC)
- Windows XP/Vista Audio/Video Applications (eg. Format SDK, DirectShow, Windows Media 11)
- Linux Audio/Video Applications (eg. Gstreamer, mplayer etc.)
• Knowledge of security application design and implementation practices.
• Experience in project planning and/or first level management role will be an advantage.
• Security knowledge of cryptography (symmetric and public key), and/or reverse engineering, hacking, digital rights management (DRM), conditional access systems (CAS), and copy protection will be an advantage.
• Good communication in English, both oral and written. (Good technical writing ability and good presentation skills.) Characteristics
