Technical Support Manager (技术支持经理)
Resposibilities:
- Managing all aspects of the product support queues;
- Optimizing the support center to ensure peak performance and optimal return on the company’s investment in the support center;
- Working with other support managers to balance the workload between support centers to ensure efficient use of company resources;
- Working closely with Development, Services, and Sales to ensure our customer’s satisfaction with their SPSS purchase;
- Providing high-level technical guidance to members of the Support organization;
- Overseeing the product support of various SPSS components and products;
- Leading multiple product support project teams, working concurrently, on new products, previous versions, and patches;
- Providing expertise in project management and support methodologies;
- Translating corporate objectives into team and individual objectives;
- Understanding business issues as they impact overall project plans;
- Collaborating and communicating with other managers, senior management, and extended staff;
- Ensuring appropriate use of external 3rd parties by qualifying, negotiating and managing the relationships;
- Focusing on increasing customer satisfaction and defining meaningful measurement criteria;
- Encouraging and participating in continuous improvement;
- Ensuring appropriate resources are identified, hired, and retained;
- Handling resource allocation and effective utilization, performance planning and evaluation, coaching and development, compensation, and recognition of merit;
- Focusing on communication with team and individuals and has positive employee relations;
- Arranging and participating in team-building and morale enrichment activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or prior experience leading in a technical position;
- 5+ years experience providing support to customers in high tech industries;
- Proven experience in P&L preferred;
- Outstanding managerial and team building skills;
- Proven ability with oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability with organizational, leadership, and decision making skills;
- Proven presentation, negotiation, and mentoring skills.
