Core Responsibilities:
• Collaboration with upstream SAP ERP team and downstream business IT teams to design and develop and test high quality, high performance, state-of-the-art SAP BI solutions.
• Owning the design and development of SAP BI solutions and the integration with BI technologies, including SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Excel.
• Ensuring quality and stability of our platform is maintained by assessing impact of SAP support and enhancement package implementation.
• Complying with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and controls.
• Producing project metrics to measure quality and performance.
• Being a self starter and team player, owning a set of features and delivering results according to plans and independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
• Collaborate with program management, test and operations teams to ensure efficient and high quality delivery. .
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of software development, ERP implementation, or Data Warehouse development experience.
• 2+ years of solid development experience in SAP BW/BI, including configuration, implementation, development, performance tuning, and trouble shooting on standard and generic data sources, data store objects, Infocubes, open hub, BEx queries, as well as the ETL including extractors, data transformation processes, start routine.
• Experience in at least 2 full life-cycle SAP BW/BI implementations.
• Deep knowledge in SAP BW delta mechanism, FI and LO extractors.
• Knowledge in ABAP programming.
• Solid data modeling knowledge and experience
• Knowledge in SQL Server and other Data Warehouse technologies is a strong plus.
• SAP BW/BI certification is a plus.
• Detail oriented, with ability to produce high quality analysis reports and specifications.
• A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
