Position： Solutions Architecture Senior Consultant- End User Computing.
based in Shanghai/Beijing
- Our End User Computing Consultant is responsible for working directly with customers to help plan and design optimal technical solutions through recommending and implementing a mix of preferred imaging, application packaging, deployment, migration, OS & application streaming/virtualization, and managed client solutions。
- The individual will serve as a technical consultant with our customers during the assessment, design and solution implementation services. A primary responsibility of the job will be to propose & implement technologies that transition enterprise environments into Dell lines of business. The consultant will utilize their financial acumen to present the business value of their technical recommendations in an ROI based manner, using our consistent methodology and formalized documentation.
- The consultant will work directly with executive and senior level decision makers in this highly visible role.
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field or equivalent experience is preferred
- 8+ years within IT enterprise environments of at least 2000 desktop/client machines required
- 4+ years in IT desktop management systems in one or more of the following: MS SMS; Marimba; CA Unicenter; IBM Tivoli; HP OpenView; Novell ZENworks; or Altiris
- 4+ years in one or more of the following: Automated inventory collection; desktop service support and/or administration; imaging/provisioning solutions; desktop configuration and patch management; complex change and/or release management cycles; security or vulnerability assessments; financial justification for IT services
- 8+ years writing proposals, project plans, project deliverable documents with samples of work produced exclusively by the candidate
- Work experience as a line manager, supervisor or project/program manager of IT professionals for enterprise projects preferred
- Knowledge of Dell Manufacturing, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, and PC Deployment is beneficial.
