Business Development Manager
Primary Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for building the China Merchant Service Business and New Business Opportunities
2. Identify and prioritize business opportunities in various market segments; develop and lead the execution of China merchant services plan to capture the opportunities
3. Be the lead person to develop contacts/relationships and sign deals with critical merchants; build an infrastructure to promote the company to other targeted segments
4. Identify other new business opportunities such as wireless, offline, etc
5. Work closely with functional team in Product, Marketing, and other teams
6. Build the Business Consultant team for PayPal APAC as business needs grow
Job Requirements•
Bachelor’s degree with 5+years total work experience. MBA or similar degree preferred.
• Demonstrated business development and/or enterprise sales success; experience with Internet Marketing a huge plus.
• Have some understanding and contacts within China online and/or TravelHotel industry; familiarity with online payment industry a strong plus.
• A self-starter and results-orientated, with ability to focus on details without losing track of the big picture
• Ability to think strategically.
• Team player with demonstrated ability to execute cross-functionally.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Energetic, with ability to work in fast-moving and fluid environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Native Chinese speaking; fluent in English.
