Vacancy Title: Senior Integration and Build Engineer 高级集成与构建工程师
Location: Beijing

Key Job Responsibilities:
You will be involved in many aspects of how Symbian OS is integrated, built and delivered, including:
●Analyzing System Build issues, raising defects and, working with development teams, ensuring their prompt resolution
●Prevention of defects through root cause analyses and ensuring the implementation of corrective measures by working with development teams
●Contributing to efforts to optimize stability and quality of the codelines
●Development of the Symbian Build System and integration tools
●Identifying improvements to tools, methods and processes and driving their implementation
●Working with development teams to improve their build and integration methods and tools
●Working with Integration Engineers to resolve System Build issues and develop new methods of building and integrating codelines
●Providing technical consultancy to development teams on build related matters
●Building good direct working relationships with development and test engineers across the company
Essential Requirements:
●Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Telecom related discipline.
●》5 years in a software development organization
●To have worked as a software developer and be familiar with design and development using C++
●Experience of software engineering project life cycles and processes
●Mobile phone OS Integration and build experience
●Expertise in Software Configuration Management tools and processes for a large complex software system
●Knowledge of builds systems such as ANT and make
Good verbal and written English skills
Preferred:
●Experience with Symbian OS or similar technology
●Working within an organization with accredited quality procedures (ISO9000, CMM etc.).
●Experience of working on different platforms including Windows, Unix and Linux
●Skilled in a scripting language such as Perl, Python or Shell.
●People and Team Leadership
●Management of small or medium size developments
●Risk Management
About the Team:
The System Integration team is part of the Product Delivery department and is responsible for engineering the Build and Integration of functionality into Symbian’s product, both for internal use and for delivery to Symbian’s customers. System Integration provides solutions for development teams, handset manufacturers and end users.
The Beijing team will help shape the future of how Symbian integrates functionality across our global sites and contribute to the realization of our Global Integration Strategy.
