几年前老公外派回国, 我辞职跟随. 当时小孩小, 我也想休息一下. 现老公公司想让我老公留下, president position but it is a local position. We will have the same package as we have now. It is a hard desicion for us to make, and we haven't made up our mind yet.
I don't want to be a housewife for the rest of my life if we keep staying in China. If I go to work, I can only make small money with my engineering background even though I have been working in US for more than 10 years. It is very hard in China to find a decent job which you can balance the family and career. It doesn't make any sense for me to go to work full time as an engineer making 15K/month with our financial situation and two kids to take care of.
I am thinking to get a US teacher certificate and become a teacher in one of the international school here, so I can take care of the family with decent salary, but I don't know how long and how hard to get a teacher certificate in US and how long it will take. I want to teach math or science.
Please give me any suggestion if you have experience or you think any other option is good for me. Thanks.
