Siebel System Administrator
Job Description
• Siebel Administration, user administration, server administration, component monitoring, and integration monitoring.
• Database query and performance troubleshooting.
• Administration and support to development, QA/testing, staging, training, and production environments
• EIM development.
• Remote user support, tier 4 on-call support
Experience Required
EIM ? 3 or more years of experience in a complex implementation. 1 or more years of EIM experience must be in version 7 or higher. 3 or more years of experience with EIM mapping, control files, and EIM loading in a production environment. EIM experience needs to cover, import, export, delete, and update.
• Communication ?Will be required to converse in English on a daily basis with admin manager, admin team, and data team. Fluent and articulate English skills are required.
• Data Model - Must know the Siebel data model well (5 or more years of experience with the data model) and be able to articulate the join conditions between frequently used tables.
• Troubleshooting skills ?5 or more years of experience with troubleshooting different parts of the Siebel system. Experience with network, infrastructure, and client machines in relation to troubleshooting.
• SQL skills ?4 or more years of experience with SQL in a DB2 v7.1 or higher environment, with at least 3 years of that experience in a production support role. 3 or more years with tools, either Embarcadero, WINSQL, or IBM command center are required. Ability to create ad-hoc queries in those tools. Should be able to create complex queries using inner and outer joins in relation to the Siebel data model.
• General admin skills ?3 or more years of general administrations skills. Needs to know user administration, group administration, server administration, and how to bring the Siebel system down and back up. Must have experience with LDAP in relation to Siebel. Resonate skills are a plus but not mandatory. Repository migration skills are a plus but not mandatory.
• Other administration ?1 or more years of workflow and assignment manager administration. Familiarity with named rules and geo based assignment.
• 2+ years of functional and technical administration experience in implementation and extensive customization in Siebel applications
• 2 or more years of experience with Siebel tools in relation to administration tasks (BC lookup, Troubleshooting, etc.)
• Siebel implementation experience on large, world wide projects
• 1 or more years of SQL Server 2000 experience including, DTS, Query Analyzer, and stored procedures.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Info Systems, or Business Systems
