Job Description
1. Build high quality technical documentation.
2. Develop manuals and online help for an audience ranging from consumers to enterprise IT administrators.
3. Contribute to the team’s processes and quality standards.
4. Develop new documentation based on engineering specifications, hands-on use of the product, and interviews with subject matter experts.
5. Adapt to and thrive in a new culture
Qualification/Requirement
1. Experience in roles requiring preparation of user, technical, or other IT-related documentation.
2. Excellent verbal communication skills with impeccable written English.
3. Ability to plan, research, write, and edit technically accurate documents in a precise and logical format.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and proficiency in, or willingness to learn Frame Maker, HTML editing, and online help systems.
5. Strong computer software aptitude and interest, with an ability to learn new concepts quickly and independently.
6. Conversational ability in Mandarin Chinese a plus, but not required.
7. University degree in English, Journalism, Computer Science, or a related field
8. Related work experience may be substituted for a degree.
9. Previous foreign study or work experience preferred.
