Job Title: APR R&D Manager-Plastic Addictives
Work Place: Shanghai, China (company's Asia Pacific Headquarter)
Responsibility:
*To manage the day to day operation of research and development activities in CRDC.
*To support, manage and drive new technology/product development and deliver profitable growth for Plastics Additives with emphasizing on developing superior technical competency in material applications, polymer science / physics, and plastic engineering.
*To manage the R&D function in a cost effective model, and developing a competent and motivated technical team.
Requirements:
*PhD degree in science or engineering with at least 5 years experience in plastics, material science and plastics application research in an industrial R&D environment after the completion of Ph.D.
*With a broad knowledge of applied science and /or engineering disciplines, demonstrated capability of managing a large group with strong organization skills
*Major technology development track record, extensive customer interaction, strong communication skills (in English)
*Mandarins speaking is preferred
*Good networking in the plastic industry and demonstrated problem solving skills.
