我去了一趟义乌看好了一种饰品，进货价也不错。我准备代到国外去卖，这是一摊。
Not this one, I tried this before, not easy. Style updating, sales channel (online is not ggod choice for this). Competition is harsh.

还有一个朋友在北京做衣服的总代理，生意不差。他准备让我在北京先开一个专卖店，干半年等我把这东西搞明白了，然后让我把货代到国外去卖。几乎不用我花钱拿货全是免费的，月结就可以了，这是一摊。
北京先开一个专卖店 - I have no sense, but with "然后让我把货代到国外去卖" that is a totally different story. not suggested. If take this, then keep on open franchise store in China.

他看好了国外一家旅馆。首付10－20％其它从银行贷款。他是做生意的，纯是给我指条路。人品也不用怀疑，这是一摊。
If you want to stay abroad, this might be an option. I thought about this, but not try. Location is the most important thing. Other legal and acounting issue can be solved. But it can not make you rich, only working for good money, usually market is about 15-20% of total investment minus management cost. So initial big investment is a need (银行贷款 for big amount sometime hard to make it)

Saw you comments on this business. Many big business is because of the big scale. Improve your management, make it copiable, managible, increase your business scale - this is what you can think. This is much more comfortable to me, if I were you.

最后我看好中国的红酒市场，也有亲戚在中国有葡萄园。我准备回去读一个酿酒专科。卖中国的酒，往中国卖。说白了和欧点的炒做没区别，但我是真技术。这也是一摊。
Huge risk, because need years to see the results. and within years everything can change, world is changing so rapid. If it is a good business, do not need to do from very begining to the very end, take one channel from the whole business, and do it exel, that is already very successful and excelent.

Agree, find similar firends helps a lot. I am in the same situation that many friends are PHDs and Engineers, who work fine, earn decent, less worry, almost no risk, but without their own control and flexibility in their life.
Do your own, 10 years later, the difference will show.

I like one person's comment: do your own business, buy your own real estate (inlcuding sell at good timiing). But this is definately not the good time to buy for the last point, but making perfect timing if you for you to do business, collecting money and 5 years later, you start to buy.
