Don't get divorced easily, give him a chance, have a serious talk, let him know your principals on relationship, tell him NEVER to breach again, otherwise, you will be gone for ever. If his performance is not up to your standard in 6 months, just dump him, he is not worth it  .
Before getting divorced, ask yourself two questions:
1. Am I financially independent? You don't have to be rich, but with what you have and what you can earn, you have to be able to afford the life style you desire.
2. Am I emotionally independent? Do you believe you're charming and smart enough to get a better guy? Yes, you're 28, not 18! But age is not big issue. I know some 30+ gorgeous and intelligent women being chased by high quality guys.
If your answers are NO to both, you might run into another relationship crisis even if you escape this one.
Just curious, why did you want to go abroad by yourself two years after getting married, were you really in love with him then? Why will you lose your parents if you divorce him, are your parents relying on his family?
