culture separate humans by groups called society. values are the foundations where caulture are derived from. life styles changes, value changes almost "proportationally"
in the spirit of Beethoven's Symphony #9, thw world has been getting smaller and smaller. the life styles between different culutres are growing in common.
in general, the human society on the whole is to emerge into one big happy family in a sociological evolution process, as the economic developments progress.
until the ultimate day of that big happy family is setting a new
value system with an universal life style, when all the countries drink french wines and italian pizza at the same quality and same price as well as equal apreciations, when they all speak chinese, english and whatever else, when the labors from pakistan do not have to deal with the problems any where they go to make a few bucks, when israel and arbs are finanly looking at thw world eye to eye, when a farmer from a remote west of china has no reason to rush to a coastal chinese city for a low pay job with low to no security or protection measures, until the chinese officers finnaly have no motivation to steal from the government and their own people but to serve their own people with a pure heart as those died in revolutions to contribute to the fate of their own people, not to make the most personal gains out of their jobs....what would be a small circle in the ideal world?
until then, you can tell yourself that there is no circle, and it it would be to your own advantage, as long as it works.
all the best wishes on a holiday of someone else's culture which i do not share the exact same value over the particular reason for the holiday, but equally happy as well!
