it is totally different:
in the long run, all organizations are to follow the mother nature rules: birth, growth and death...a cycle.
mathmatically we are to join in at a segment of the curve.
we want to make the most out of the each time we were in and out of such a segment from a sampled curve, and that would be ideally how we outgrow others: we practice our visions at each organization at increased responsibilities from higher and higher positions, and challenge our own capacities and capabilities.
the first american company i worked for was the 2nd largest company in its industry. today it is gone without trace. it did not hurt me at all.
if i stayed with the company thought i was holding on with bullshits for job security, i would be in trouble today.
the true smart guy outsmart others by expanding his own capacity and capability to actually take on challenges. the tougher the competition it gets, the better for such guys who got much more than others could offer, much more to bring to the table. 没有乱世何以显得英雄本色?!英雄最爱的是乱世!
of course, this is not for everyone. if you are not cut out for that, you need to find an easy way out. but don't complain
