Position Project Manager/Project Assistant Manager
Section Heat Pump Water Heater Project
Location Guangzhou
Report to Senior Marketing Director
Position Key Outcomes
l To develop a long-term strategic vision of China building Heat Pump Water Heater market. To understand the changing needs of customers and consumers in that market and adjust ICA’s strategies and focus as promptly as possible.
l To develop and manage a highly effective aggressive and defensive program to achieve targeted tonnage in China.
l To measure all tasks and ensure they are done in the most effective and efficient manner to achieve ICA’s objectives on a timely basis.
l To lead a high performance project team including both internal and external recourses.
Key Responsibilities
l To carry out the project in accordance with the agreed marketing programs, the broad strategy of which has been developed.
l To bring forward such amendments to that strategy as may be necessary to reflect acceptance in the market place.
l To segment the market place and use appropriate tactics for each segment to increase copper usage.
l To manage the project effectively & efficiently within budget as approved.
l To keep all superiors fully informed of activities as may be required.
l To seek contribution from third parties to encourage the cooperation.
l To develop good partnership to support the implementation of the planed programs.
l To work with all stakeholders and partners to promote copper’s benefits to the various target audiences to increase copper’s consumption.
l To guide the team members to be on the right track and motivate their morale and retain their commitment.
Qualification and Experience
l University qualification or above, major in air-con/refrigeration or heating and ventilation
l At least 6 years working experience including at least 3 years sales / marketing working experience, track record of years of successful management experience.
l The related technical working background and having good relationship with related trade association and government are preferred
l Fluency in both oral and written English.
