Client Company: A leading European bank

Position: Assistant Telecom Manager

Report to: IT Manager TLC, China

Location: Shanghai

Job Duties:
• To design, implement and upgrade telecom network to meet the Bank’s business and operations requirements.
• To manage and support the telecom network and facilities which supporting the Bank’s business and operations.
• To maintain close working relationship telecom network operators as well as the equipment suppliers, in order to make sure that the best services could be provided.
• To liaise with business users and peer groups from AOC IT and APH IT on deliver and support of services to meet the users business and operations requirements.

Job Requirements:
Career Experience and Others
• A minimum of 7 years experience in telecommunication field with recent 5 years working in a sizeable multinational company under financial sector.
• Good understanding in banking business and operations.
• Good experience in management of large-scale data and voice networks.
• Good relationship with local telecom services providers as well as the equipment suppliers.
• Able to work independently with very minimal guidance to analysis and translate user requirements to technical telecommunication proposal.

Qualification and Knowledge
• Possess a recognized degree in telecommunications or electrical/electronic engineering.
• Holder of CCNA and CCNP.
• Good understanding of the core telecommunications technologies (e.g. ATM, VoIP, Mcommerce), including Cisco Routers and Switches, Nortel Passport & PABX, Firewall and contact center.
• Good knowledge of accounting and planning is a definite plus.

Language Skill
• Fluency in English (in both writing and speaking), Putonghua and Cantonese
• Able to write proposals and reports in English
