My response to your posting was that it will be difficult to find nice community in east coast where lao zhongs are majority, but in CA I do feel like a part of majority people. Recently I came back from overseas trips and went through customs both in Detroit and Chicago, I and several Asian looking guys were picked up to go through customs checking again. That happened last year and year before! The white business people around me never had to go through what I went through. Why? Maybe I need to write to the Customs Commissioner or my senators? No wonder last time when my son went through this, he said to the customs guy:"I guess it is Asian American appreciation Day today again."
