POSITION SUMMARY
Briefly describe the position (ie. major purpose of the job, and the major purpose of the workforce reporting to the job)
· Work with backend developers, Field Sales teams, the Industries Team and the OracleDirect BD Team in Asia Pacific, to create simple and expressive, professional and artistic, user friendly and tasteful web GUIs;
· Learn new web development technologies and apply them in work;
· Assist in the implementation of Core technology initiatives and projects to achieve “best practice” procedures, processes and systems with OracleDirect Asia Pacific
· Maintain constructive relationships with OracleDirect and Oracle Asia Pacific sales and business teams;
· EXPERIENCE
· 2 or more years web site graphic design and development experience required
· JavaScript and HTML programming experience essential
· JSP experience highly desired
· Experience with web site / page authoring tools and graphics software essential
· Compatible interpersonal skills and multi cultural sensitivity essential
· Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, progressive organisation essential
· Ability to work independently and with a team
· Ability to work to a deadline within loose project guidelines required
· Self motivated, desire to learn independently required
· Strong communication skills required
· Competitive product knowledge is highly regarded
· Fluency in Mandarin – essential
· Good language skills in English is a plus
· QUALIFICATIONS
· Tertiary qualification essential
· Successful candidate will be expected to present a portfolio of selections of their past work for review by the interviewing manager/s.
