In Us u got loan recourse or none, that is correct. And it is the same everywhere even in China.
But we r talking abt personal finance here ONLY, and mostly on mortgage. It is non recourse in the Us, normally, and that is the only option most of the time.
And u r making your whole point on one simple assumption rather than the whole picture, i can't make the conclusion other than that it is naive to be honest.
i am not blaming ur because of China. I was simply saying the only place where ppl r behaving in a completely irresponsible way, that is Us, not that China is odd, but the opposite ...
