kept hearing stories of trying to influence the domestic commodity market. there are laws and regulations. the question is when to enforce them.
btw the conspricy theory makes me sick. hedge funds go after profits. they do not care who are the victims, chinese or not. the stupid ones always end up paying. it happened to japanese firms, us firms, uk firms, etc...
