this path many years ago. It ended no where. The IRS asked my compnay to provide that the ownership is more than 51% US owned. But we were a public company, and anybody could buy the share of the stock, therefore, it was very difficult to prove it is an US company. Consequently, the N-470 was never granted. It was 1996. I ended up coming back to US for another 4 years to fullfil all the naturization requirement.
